Currently reading: An Abundance of Katherines

After The Fault in Our Stars (TFOS), I got curious with John Green's other books. I wanna know if his other books were as witty and sad, I guess. I cried when I read the book and, yes, I also cried when I watched the movie. I'm not sure what's harder: watching such a sad story (Why did it have to be Augustus Waters?! Why did his cancer have to come back?!) or trying to cry as quietly as I could. Haha!

And so I borrowed An Abundance of Katherines from my sister. According to the synopsis at the back: "When it comes to relationships, Colin Singleton's type is girls named Katherine. And when it comes to girls named Katherine, Colin is always getting dumped. Nineteen times, to be exact. On a road trip miles from home, this anagram-happy, washed up child prodigy has ten thousand dollars in his pocket, a bloodthirsty feral hog on his trail, and an overweight, Judge Judy-loving best friend riding shotgun - but no Katherines. Colin is on a mission to prove The Theorem of Underlying Katherine Predictability, which he hopes will predict the future of any relationship and average Dumpees everywhere, and my finally win him the girl."

I haven't finished the book yet, but so far so good. There's a LOT of information about random facts (history, math, science) since it was told from Colin's point of view. There's also a bit of math, including diagrams and equations since as per the synopsis, he's trying to prove a theorem (ano daw??). Don't let these scare you off though. The book's pretty interesting and has a lot of unusual characters.
Okay. I'll stop now. I don't wanna spoil the book for you. :)
Have you read the book? What do you think about it?
